Nickelodeon Instagram & Snapchat Stories
During my internship with Nickelodeon, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the Live Stories Social Media team to create content for official Instagram and Snapchat accounts.
Our goal was to build excitement for show launches and events through thumb-stopping content that utilizes a show's brand as well as the social platform's native capabilities.
This reel shows a sample of the videos I edited for these accounts. I also animated motion graphics using brand-approved assets following the network's style guides.
Double Dare
Instagram Stories
This set of Instagram stories, aimed at kids aged 6-11, was created to raise anticipation for the modern reboot of the classic 80's game show, Double Dare.
A strong focus was placed on spotlighting the hosts and taking advantage of the platform's interface to create moments of interactivity, all in the spirit of fun and messiness that the Double Dare brand is known for.
"Will it Slime?" Livestream with Inside Nick
In the brand's first "triple livestream" broadcast simultaneously on Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, viewers were given the opportunity to vote on objects to be slimed in classic Nickelodeon fashion.
In addition to general pre-production and on-set assistance, I was working behind the camera to monitor the incoming votes and communicate the results to the hosts in real-time.








Transparent GIFs
Another large aspect of my time with Nick Social was creating transparent gifs from various shows for anyone to use on their Instagram and Snapchat stories.
A heavy focus was placed on tagging the gifs for optimal SEO. A few even hit the Trending page on both Instagram and Snapchat!
